What is the Quitxt Study?

Quitxt is a 6-month study enrolling 1,200 young adults who smoke tobacco cigarettes.

Quitxt is our bilingual, evidence-based text messaging cessation program – designed to help young adults quit smoking.

The goal is simple: help you quit smoking and live a longer, healthier life.

All activities can be done by Zoom or online on your phone.

Who Can Join?

Latino young adults who:

  • Are 18–35 years old
  • Smoke at least one tobacco cigarette 3 or more times a week
  • Want to quit smoking

Participants receive stipends for completing study activities ($20/activity, up to $140)
